Things just keep getting worse for Derrick Turnbow.
Already demoted to Class AAA, the former Milwaukee Brewers reliever walked in a run and recorded only one out in his debut for the Nashville Sounds on Monday.
Turnbow, who cleared waivers last Friday and accepted an assignment to Nashville, entered the Sounds' game at the Las Vegas 51s at the start of the eighth inning and got the first batter to ground out.
But then Turnbow, an All-Star for the Brewers in 2006, loaded the bases with a walk, a single and another walk. He then walked Danny Ardoin to force in a run to give Las Vegas a 3-1 lead; another run scored after he departed.
Turnbow threw 25 pitches, only nine for strikes, and Las Vegas won 4-1.
The ERA he posted in eight appearances this season for the Brewers -- 15.63 -- looks paltry compared to the 54.00 he now owns with Nashville.
