Sports: baseball, football, basketball.

Fast facts: Moen is a two-time letterwinner and three-year starter in baseball for the Vikings. He started at second base as a sophomore and earned the team's Best Defense award. He has been the starting catcher as a junior and senior and earned Six Rivers Conference first team honors as a junior. Moen was a three-time letterwinner in football, starting at wide receiver and defensive back as a senior for the Pecatonica-Argyle co-op program. The Vikings won Six Rivers Conference titles his sophomore and junior seasons and he earned honorable mention all-league honors at wide receiver as a senior. Moen was a three-time letterwinner in basketball, starting at guard as a senior. A co-captain as a senior, he earned all-conference honorable mention honors and the team's Best Offense award when he averaged nearly 11 points per game.

Cumulative grade-point average: 3.88.

Favorite subject: anatomy and physiology.

Three words to describe me are: laid-back, entertaining, sarcastic.

How I got started in sports: I started playing tee-ball and basketball in kindergarten, football in second grade and golf in seventh grade.

I wish I could play: hockey.

My most memorable moment in sports was: scoring a career-high 27 points in a basketball victory over Highland my senior year.

I enjoy high school sports because: of the friendships you make and the competition.

I enjoy playing baseball because: it's a laid-back sport where you can fail 70 percent of the time and still be good.

Advice: "Never look too far ahead. Take it one day at a time and enjoy it while you can."

I like Pecatonica High School because: of the atmosphere with the students and teachers where everyone is close.

My perfect day would be: sleeping until 10 a.m., playing a basketball game and getting in a round of golf before hanging out with my friends.

I wish: to play a professional sport.

Nickname: Flash.

I will remember most about high school: the sports that I played and the friendships I made and the lessons I learned.

If I could change anything: people wouldn't be so money-hungry.
