Baseball highlights: Lorrig was a three-time letterwinner and a three-year starter -- at designated hitter as a sophomore and at first base as a junior and senior -- for the Spartans. Memorial won the Big Eight Conference title his senior year and advanced to the WIAA Division 1 state tournament the last three years in a row. As a senior, he batted .397 (29-for-73) with 22 runs scored, two home runs and 19 RBIs, and earned All-Conference first-team and Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-State third-team honors.
Other sports honors: Lorrig was a two-time letterwinner and a two-year starter at tight end in football. As a senior, he earned All-Conference honors at tight end. As the team's starting punter, he earned All-District honors after averaging 42.3 yards per punt and setting a school record for most attempts in a season (37).

This and that: will compete in the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Classic in Oshkosh plans to work part-time this summer for Smart Motors works part-time as a stage crew member helping to set up for concerts hobbies include playing Frisbee golf, fishing, boating, wakeboarding and tubing.
Post-high school plans: attend UW-La Crosse to study liberal arts and play football and possibly baseball
