School: Middleton

Year: Senior

Sports: football, basketball

Sports highlights: Hook was a two-time letterwinner as a reserve defensive lineman and offensive lineman in football for the Cardinals. Middleton advanced to the WIAA Division 1 playoffs his junior and senior seasons. Hook played forward on the freshman and junior varsity basketball teams as a freshman and sophomore, respectively. He played Catholic Youth Organization basketball as a junior and senior.

Cumulative grade-point average: 3.96

Favorite subject: mathematics

How I got started in sports: I started playing tee ball and soccer in kindergarten, basketball in third grade and football in sixth grade

My most memorable moment in sports was: beating Janesville Parker 24-23 my senior year to stop a long losing streak against them

I enjoy high school sports because: of the great friendships you make, the opportunities to compete and the good times we have

I enjoy playing football because: it is a fun sport and playing under the Friday night lights is a blast

My role models are: my parents, Tim and Linda Hook

The rest of my immediate family includes: my older sisters, Emily, Stephanie and Amanda

Favorite athlete: Brett Favre

Favorite teams: Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers

Favorite food: peanut butter sandwich

Favorite sports to watch on TV: college and pro football

I wish: I had the ability to play a musical instrument well

I will remember most about high school: all of the friends I made and the great times we had together

If I could change anything: I would fix the economy and lower gas prices

This and that: member of National Honor Society member of Key Club for two years also was a member of FBLA and Invisible World works part-time at Copp's Food Store and Point Cinema used to play the piano, trumpet and guitar volunteer work includes MOM's Food Pantry, ringing bells for Salvation Army, area soup kitchen, Park Elementary School carnival Middleton Youth Football camp coach member of High Honor Roll throughout high school earned an Academic Letter graduated with High Honors earned UW Credit Union Scholarship hobbies include playing soccer, playing Ultimate Frisbee, fishing, running
