Her junior season, she was voted Most Dedicated Runner by her teammates.
Other sports highlights: Heifner is a three-time letterwinner and a two-time state qualifier in track and field. As a junior, she ran a leg on the 3,200-meter relay, which set a school record in finishing third at the WIAA Division 1 state meet. She qualified for state as a freshman as a member of the school's 1,600 relay. Heifner has also competed in the 400, 800 and 1,600. She played point guard in basketball as a freshman.

I enjoy high school sports because: of the camaraderie, the friendships I've developed, and the quality of the coaches and staff. The parents in cross country are also amazing.
