LOS ANGELES -- The Wisconsin men's tennis team's season came to an end Sunday with a loss to No. 3-ranked UCLA in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

The Badgers fell 4-0 as their season ended in the tournament's second round for the second year in a row.

After the Bruins swept the Badgers to win the doubles points, they picked up three straight singles matches to clinch the victory. At No. 3 singles, Mathieu Dehain beat Jeremy Sonkin 6-2, 6-3. At No. 5, Jeremy Drean beat Felipe Bellido 6-4, 6-1, and the Bruins' Michael Look ended the match with his 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory over Michael Dierberger.

The Badgers end the season with an 18-10 record. They finished the year with 18 wins, their best total since winning 20 in 1990. The Badgers had an unblemished record at home this year, going 11-0. It was the first time since 1991 that the team had an undefeated home season. In the Big Ten, Wisconsin finished with eight wins for its highest total since 1982.
