Jolene Anderson's pro basketball debut Saturday afternoon was a memorable one.
The former University of Wisconsin women's basketball standout scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds as the WNBA's Connecticut Sun whipped Atlanta 100-64 in the Sun's season opener at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
Anderson, who came off the bench and played 20 minutes for the Sun, made four of 10 shots and was 0-for-2 from 3-point range and the free throw line. She grabbed four offensive rebounds and had one assist and one turnover.
