Sixty children from the Dane County area took to the Kohl Center basketball court Thursday with UW women's basketball players and UW women's coach Lisa Stone during the eighth annual Oscar Mayer Hoops for Hope event.

Children from the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, the Emerson School Safe Haven Program and Nehemiah Corp. took part in the free basketball clinic Thursday. The free clinic, sponsored by Oscar Mayer and Kraft Foods, encourages boys and girls 9-12 to participate in team sports and other after-school activities.
