For the third straight year, the University of Wisconsin football team will kick off its homecoming game at 11 a.m.
The Badgers will host Illinois the morning of Oct. 25 at Camp Randall Stadium in a game that will be televised by either ESPN, ESPN2 or the Big Ten Network, UW announced Sunday.
Wisconsin also had 11 a.m. start times for homecoming against Minnesota in 2006 and Indiana in 2007.
The Illini handed Wisconsin its first loss of the season in 2007, a 31-26 decision in Champaign, Ill., that snapped their four-game losing streak in the series. Illinois went on to finish 6-2 in the Big Ten and earn a Rose Bowl berth.
Two other game times for 2008 have been announced: 7 p.m. starts on Oct. 4 against Ohio State and Oct. 11 against Penn State, both in Madison.
UW spokesperson Justin Doherty said that the start time for the Nov. 22 Cal Poly game has not been set, despite a reference to a 2 p.m. Central start on that school's Web site.
