Badgers 7, Buckeyes 0.

Touchdown: Booker Stanley ran 2 yards around left end, behind a crunching block from Jonathan Clinkscale, with 14 minutes, 54 seconds left. Point after touchdown: Mike Allen kick. Drive: Thirteen plays, 63 yards, 7:26. Key plays: Brandon Williams caught passes of 10 and 11 yards but the statement moment came on third-and-3 from the Buckeyes' 30-yard line when UW went to three tight ends and Stanley ran over left tackle for 9 yards, one of three third-down conversions in the drive.

Badgers 7, Buckeyes 3

Field goal: Mike Nugent kicked a 24-yarder with 4:02 left. Drive: Eight plays, 12 yards, 2:55. Key plays: Ohio State took over at the UW 19-yard line after Jim Leonhard fumbled a punt and Jason Bond recovered. But the UW defense held, even after a good spot on a quarterback sneak by Craig Krenzel on fourth-and-1 gave the Buckeyes a first down at the 9-yard line.

Third quarter

Badgers 10, Buckeyes 3

Field goal: Allen kicked a 38-yarder with 5:09 left. Drive: Six plays, 18 yards, 3:10. Key plays: Ohio State's Chris Gamble fumbled a punt and UW long-snapper Matt Katula recovered at the Ohio State 38-yard line. Stanley had runs of 7 and 8 yards, then quarterback Jim Sorgi scrambled 8 yards on third-and-15 to the 20.

Fourth quarter

Badgers 10, Buckeyes 10

Touchdown: Michael Jenkins caught a 6-yard pass from Krenzel with 6:09 left. PAT: Nugent kick. Drive: Seven plays, 75 yards, 2:05. Key play: Drew Carter beat cornerback Levonne Rowan on a straight go pattern, then laid out to make a 46-yard catch at the 6-yard line.

Badgers 17, Buckeyes 10

Touchdown: Lee Evans beat Gamble with an out-and-up move and backup quarterback Matt Schabert delivered a perfect strike along the right sidelines for a 79-yard play with 5:20 left in the game. PAT: Allen kick. Drive: Two plays, 80 yards, 49 seconds.
