University of Wisconsin women's hockey teammates Hilary Knight and Erika Lawler will participate in the U.S. Women's Under-22 camp, USA Hockey announced Monday.
The camp will run from June 24-July 1 in Lake Placid, N.Y. Knight and Lawler will be among 34 players competing for 22 spots on a team that will participate in the USA Hockey Women's National Festival in August, as well as compete against Canada in the Under-22 series.
UW's Meghan Duggan was also invited to the camp but was unable to attend.
Lawler, a forward from Fitchburg, Mass., led the Badgers in assists (28) and was third in scoring (40) last season as a junior.
Knight, a forward from Hanover, N.H., was fourth in scoring with 38 points (20 goals, 18 assists) as a freshman for UW, which advanced to the NCAA title game before falling to Minnesota-Duluth.
