Tom Allen <

Age: 42 <

Address: 6201 Spring Pond Court, McFarland. <

Job: Attorney for RMT <

Political experience: Worked on the local school referendum. <

Other public service: Active in the local school referendum. <

Education: Bachelor's of science in bacteriology from UW-Madison, law degree from UW-Madison. <

Top priorities: More interaction between village and schools. Parity in spending for schools and municipalities. <

Dave Crane (I) <

Age: 65 <

Address: 6105 Forest Ridge Court, McFarland. <

Job: Retired. <

Political experience: Served as Village Board president for four years and trustee for six years. <

Other public service: Served on the Public Safety Committee and Public Works Committee. <

Education: Diploma from Baraboo High School. <

Top priorities: Watch how we spend the money. Try to get the citizens of the village the best value for their dollar. Slow growth. <

Chris Klar (I) <

Education: Associate's degree as an automotive technician from ATC. <

Top priorities: To remain fiscally conservative. Fight overtaxation of residents. Grow the commercial tax base. Guide the decisions concerning state-shared revenues. <

Job: Civil Engineer, owner of Quam Engineering. <

Other public service: Participant in the Lower Yahara Conservancy Coalition, a grassroots organization working to preserve environmental lands along the Yahara River. <

Education: Bachelor's of science in civil engineering from the UW-Madison. <

Top priorities: Support smart growth through planning and implementation. Listen to the residents. Maintain and enhance the village's unique characteristics. Reduce village property tax rate.
