The Madison Mallards added utility man Joey Bonadonna to their roster Sunday.
Bonadonna, the Northwoods League's all-time leader in stolen bases, replaced utility man Russell Harben, who was done for the season after breaking his left foot.
Bonadonna played the last three years with the Duluth Huskies, and started this season with them before being released June 8.
Bonadonna also set the NWL record for steals in a single season last summer with 45 on his way to being named a postseason All-Star by the league.
He was in the lineup for Sunday's loss to Green Bay, starting at second base and going 1-for-3 with a run scored, a run batted in and a stolen base.
Bonadonna plays his college ball at Illinois.
