GREEN BAY -- If it's not past your bed-time -- it is, after all, a school night -- stay up for retired Packers quarterback Brett Favre's appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman."
The show airs at 10:35 p.m. on CBS, which in Madison is WISC-TV (Channel 3).
Also scheduled to appear tonight is Tina Fey of NBC's "30 Rock" to promote her new movie, "Baby Mama," with Fey's Saturday Night Live pal Amy Poehler.
You can check out "The Late Show" website here.
Also, with Favre's TV appearance coming at the same time as ex-Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Geoff Jenkins is in town with his new team, the Philadelphia Phillies, we were reminded that the two used to be confused for each other early in their respective careers.
Here's a snippet from a Milwaukee-based Packers show from the 1990s, "Pack Attack," on YouTube that you might enjoy before Favre sits down with Dave tonight.
This is Favre's first appearance on the show since February 1997, after the Packers won Super Bowl XXXI.
