NFL Draft: Packers take Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm with 56th overall pick
GREEN BAY -- The cameras were rolling on ESPN's fearsome fivesome when the network came back from commercial Saturday evening, unbeknownst to ex-NFL quarterback Steve Young and the rest of the crew.
"This is bad for Aaron Rodgers," Young was saying, referring to the Green Bay Packers' new starting quarterback.
What was bad, in Young's opinion? The Packers' second second-round pick: Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm.
Brohm had gone into the draft as a possible first-round pick, considered to be among the second-tier of quarterbacks behind Boston College's Matt Ryan, who went No. 3 overall to Michigan quarterback Chad Henne went with the very next pick to the Miami Dolphins.
We'll have a closer look at Brohm shortly.
