GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers took Texas tight end Jermichael Finley with their first pick of Day 2 of the NFL draft Sunday morning, selecting the redshirt sophomore in the third round, with the 91st overall pick.

ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper said after the pick that Finley could have been a low first-round pick next year had he stayed in school.
