At a glance: Drafted 162nd overall, with the pick received from New England in the Clay Matthews trade. ... Full name is James J. Meredith. ... Native of Simpsonville, S.C. ... Born May 11, 1986. ... Started 13 games in 2006 -- seven at right tackle, six at left tackle -- and all 12 games at left tackle in 2007 but accepted a two-game suspension to begin the 2008 season to regain eligibility from a redshirt year. ... Started one game at left tackle upon his return but lost the starting job and moved to left guard to start nine more games. ... Missed time with asorted ankle injuries. ...
