Several forums for Madison aldermanic candidates have been scheduled:
The East Isthmus Neighborhood Planning Council is sponsoring an East Side candidates' forum for Districts 6, 12, 15 and 17 on March 17 at the Salvation Army Community Center, 3030 Darbo Drive, from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
The event will begin with candidate introductions, include both moderator and audience questions and conclude with breakout sessions for each district.
A forum featuring the common council candidates for District 20 will be held at the Sequoya Branch Library, 555 S. Midvale Blvd., on March 24 from 1-2:30 p.m. The event will be moderated by a representative from the League of Women Voters.
Thuy Pham-Remmele and Gary Poulson are running to replace Cindy Thomas, who did not seek re-election, in District 20. The forum is being sponsored by neighborhood associations in District 20, including those from Midvale Heights, Meadowood, Orchard Ridge, and Prairie Hills.
A candidate forum for Madison aldermanic candidates in Districts 12 and 18 will be held March 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Lakeview Library (in Northside Town Center).
Candidates participating are: Jon Becker and Michael Schumacher, running in District 12, and Mark Deadman and Satya Rhodes-Conway, running in District 18.
