Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker has racked up a couple of key endorsements in recent days.
National GOP Committeewoman Mary Buestrin endorsed the Milwaukee County executive today, Walker's campaign announced.
On Monday the campaign said Michael W. Grebe, head of the conservative-leaning Bradley Foundation, would be chairman of the campaign.
Walker is one of at least three Republicans seeking the 2010 GOP gubernatorial nomination. Former Congressman Mark Neumann, a builder and school choice advocate from Nashotah, has said he intends to run. Appleton businessman Mark Todd is also running.
Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle has not said whether he intends to seek re-election in 2010, but he has been raising money and taking other steps to be ready to run again.
