ESSAY

Being involved in athletics has meant the world to me, ever since house league soccer started in second grade. It has introduced me to many new obstacles, and most importantly people. I got a chance to play major varsity roles for high profile sports since freshman year. I got the chance to play varsity basketball right away, and nothing could have served as a better guide for my four years of high school. Not only the physical aspect has gotten easier, but also the way I carry myself on the court. I feel that, now as a senior, I have been able to stay very composed on the court, and I have just concentrated on what I can control. As a high school athlete, you are a role model to all youth, especially in a small town like Baraboo. I know that all the little kids are watching me at all times, and it is up to us as players to show them how to carry themselves on and off the court.
