The last day of the U.S. Olympic Trials for track and field in Eugene, Ore., will feature two former Wisconsin athletes vying for berths.

Alonzo Moore (2002-06) qualified for the men's triple jump finals, which are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Madison time Sunday.

Jenelle Deatherage (1995-99) qualified for the finals of the women's 1,500 meters, which are scheduled to  begin at 6:05 p.m. Madison time.

Moore is looking to join former UW teammate Matt Tegenkamp on Team USA. Tegenkamp qualified for the Summer Olympics in the men's 5,000 meters.

Deatherage is seeking to become the fourth product of the UW women's program to make it to the Olympics. The others: Cindy Bremser in 1984, Suzy Favor Hamilton in 1992, '96 and 2000 and Kathy Butler in 1996 and 2004.
