Thursday in Detroit -- Around Ford Field: No sentiment here
By JASON WILDE

UW senior Brian Butch knows that much of the country -- not to mention many of the non-Bucky types at Ford Field on Friday night -- will be rooting for Davidson, a No. 10 seed that has garnered much of the Cinderella hype in the Sweet 16, even though the Wildcats are hardly a shocking succes story.

Nevertheless, Butch was asked if he'll feel bad about dispatching one of the tournament's feel-good stories with a victory.

"For us, it is a basketball game. There has to be a winner and a loser. So for us, we're trying to win the game just as much as they are," Butch said. "They've played great so far. They've done a great job of playing team basketball. They do a lot of great things.
For us, we have to concentrate on what we've been doing all year long. We really have to concentrate on sticking to our rules and really concentrating on what needs to be done to win the basketball game."
