The new Homewood Suites by Hilton has opened on the Far West Side.
The 122-suite hotel is a joint venture project between the North Central Group, which manages the property, and Raymond Management Co., which served as developer and construction manager.
The $11.6 million hotel, at 479 Commerce Drive, offers studio and one- and two-bedroom suites and is adjacent to the $10 million, 132-room Hampton Inn & Suites that opened in June. Both hotels are visible from the Beltline, between Mineral Point Road and South High Point Road.
Launched in 1989, the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand has more than 250 hotels and another 140 in the development process. Amenities include a daily complimentary breakfast in the hotel's hospitality center, a "Welcome Home" reception featuring a complimentary light meal and beverages Monday through Thursday evenings, an executive business center and a 24-hour on-site pantry.
The Madison hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor putting green, and 850 square feet of meeting space.
