The Madison Mallards walked out of a three-game losing steak.
Former Monona Grove athlete Josh Groves' bases-loaded walk in the 10th inning gave the Mallards a 7-6 win over the Wisconsin Woodchucks Saturday night at Warner Park.
A crowd of 6,753 watched as the Mallards (13-9) blew a one-run lead in the ninth, then battle back to tie it and force extra innings on Aaron Bray's RBI double and Russell Harben's sacrifice fly.
Woodchucks reliever Brad Riddle didn't get an out in the 10th. Rob Lyerly singled, Phil Gosselin reached on an error and Drew Martin walked before Groves reached.
