The following is a calendar for outdoors recreational events in and around southern Wisconsin as of July 5, 2008. Please note that readers are advised to contact clubs and organizations, especially in the event of inclement weather, to check the status of each listing. 

July 4 to 6: Reedsburg Outdoors Club's annual trap shoot. Doubles shoot and merchandise shoot on Friday followed by money and merchandise shoots on both Saturday and Sunday. S2064 Luetke Road in Reedsburg. Call Mike Schumann at 608-524-2118 or the clubhouse at 608-524-6968.

July 17: Public meeting on the past, present and future of Black Earth Creek and the watershed.
