A 26-year-old man from Milwaukee was in critical condition Saturday after he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a car in rural Dodge County on Saturday, the sheriff’s department said.
The man, whose name has not been released, was going west on Highway 16/60, just east of Columbus, when he lost control at a curve in the road and ran into an oncoming car driven by Ronnie J. Hanzel, of Reeseville. Hanzel and the car’s passengers were not injured.
The motorcycle rider, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken by helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison.
