TOWN OF WINDSOR — A rollover crash on Highway C at Vinburn Road in the town of Windsor injured two people shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Lt. Brian Hayes of the Dane County Sheriff’s Office reported Sarah R. Krainik, 20, of Deforest, was driving a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero south on the highway when she lost control and the vehicle rolled. Krainik, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
Her passenger, Danielle N. Blundon, 20, of Sun Prairie, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. She was flown to UW Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Haynes said.
Krainik was arrested and tentatively charged with second-offense marijuana possession and causing injury by driving while intoxicated.
