Employees in the Madison Police Department’s records office got an eyeful Thursday around noon when a man disrobed in the lobby.
“He didn’t even have a watch on,” said Madison Police Officer Kip Kellogg, who responded to the call on the first floor of the City-County Building. “He shocked the women in Records. I’m sure he has many mental issues. He was thinking he could get a shower, and we would provide him with new clothes.
“As he stood at the Records counter, he stripped bare naked. All the women fled and were waiting for uniformed officers to arrive.”
Police covered him up and took him to a hospital for evaluation, Kellogg said.
