A digital readout on a Niton XRF scanner used by Elemental Safety shows 18,700 parts per million of lead (Pb).

Parts of this child's necklace, owned by Dave Milke's granddaughter, are 50 percent lead. Milke is a co-owner of Elemental Safety, a new lead testing firm.
