GREEN BAY -- While former UW-Whitewater standout Justin Beaver is waiting and hoping, the Green Bay Packers have signed three other undrafted free agents who took part in last weekend's post-draft rookie orientation camp: Portland State cornerback Condrew Allen, Louisiana Tech offensive tackle Ryan Considine and Louisiana-Lafayette cornerback Kyle Ward.
The additions put the Packers' roster at 78 players, leaving them two openings. One of those two is presumably for starting running back Ryan Grant, who has yet to sign his exclusive rights free-agent tender.
The Packers had also shown interest in signing Arkansas defensive tackle Fred Bledsoe, another tryout player, but Bledsoe is sidelined due to arthroscopic ankle surgery, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
The Packers return to the practice field May 19 when organize team activity practices begin.
