Man shot 'multiple times' following domestic dispute, police say

No one was in custody but Dane County authorities assured "all involved participants are accounted for" following a shooting at a trailer home that left one man hospitalized Sunday morning.

Douglas D. Deviney, 30, was shot "multiple times" following a domestic dispute at a trailer in Ray's Riverside Resort at 7554 Highway 12, in the town of Roxbury.  Dane County deputies and police from Sauk Prairie were called there at 3:40 a.m., according to Lt. Jeff Blakely, of the sheriff's office.

"It started as a domestic incident and went downhill from there," said Blakely.  A handgun was recovered, he said, and no other injuries were reported. "The persons involved were all well acquainted with one another," he said.

Deviney was in stable condition at the UW Hospital.  Blakely said any charges await consultation with the district attorney's office.
