A Megabucks ticket sold in Dane County is worth $5.6 million.
The ticket, purchased in Windsor, matched all six numbers picked in Saturday’s drawing. As of noon Sunday, no one had stepped forward to claim the prize, and the name of the store that sold the winning ticket is not expected to be disclosed until Monday.
The winning numbers were: 4, 6, 10, 35, 41, and 48. The ticket holder has 180 days from Saturday’s drawing to produce the winning ticket, and then 60 days to decide either to take the $5.6 million jackpot in 25 annual installments or as a one-time lump-sum cash payment of $3.46 million.
The last time Dane County had a major lottery winner was in March 2007, when Patrick Nowlin of Stoughton won a $40.7 million Powerball jackpot.
