Pharmacist has license pulled after thefts in Stoughton
By DAVID WAHLBERG
Wisconsin State Journal

STOUGHTON — The state has suspended the license of a pharmacist from Oregon after she admitted stealing medications last year from the pharmacy she worked at in Stoughton.

According to documents from the state Department of Regulation and Licensing, Holly M. Slusser, 53, said she stole cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxant, and lorazepam, for anxiety, from her employer, Roundy’s Supermarkets.

A surveillance video showed her stealing drugs from the pharmacy at least 15 times in December. Slusser said she was addicted to lorazepam and also acknowledged stealing nonpharmacy merchandise. She was fired from Roundy’s.

Her license is suspended for at least a year. She could get it back after that if she completes drug treatment, submits to urine testing and meets other conditions.

Slusser could not be reached for comment.
