Farrier Dean Johanningmeier is the horseshoe fitter of choice for equine patients at the UW-Madison Veterinary Hospital large animal section. Therapeutic shoes work for horses, too. These were fashioned by farrier Dean Johanningmeier at the UW-Madison Veterinary Sciences' Large Animal Clinic to help a lame 12-year-old mare, Missy.
