Iowa County: Avoca is evacuated as Wisconsin River floods
Officials evacuated the village of Avoca Thursday evening as it flooded with water from the Wisconsin River.

The village of about 615 people is located in the northwestern corner of Iowa County along Highway 133 and just south of the Wisconsin River.

The Iowa County Sheriff's Office did not report other damage as of about 6:30 Thursday night.
