Contaminated floodwater has submerged the Prairie Subdivision off Highway 23 near Spring Green since June 8, and residents won  't be returning soon as the water has no place to go. The foundation of one house is washed away as contaminated water fills basements in a neighborhood on the edge of Spring Green. Nearly a month after the floods, residents still aren't able to return to their homes. Trees are starting to die in the Prairie Subdivision on the edge of Spring Green because floodwaters have yet to recede.
