Larry Berberich shows an insulated concrete form like that used in the construction the house he and his wife, Gail, share in rural Richland County. The form is filled with concrete and steel to form walls. The technology is uncommon and they believe it's part of the reason they haven't been able to get the house appraised, which is necessary to refinance their mortgage. Gail and Larry Berberich built their home near Blue River two and a half years ago. Gail and Larry Berberich stand on stairs that overlook the living room of their home near Blue River.
